I've made mention of local internet advertising before but as this is the last great untapped market for advertising I thought local internet advertising would be worth another mention.



Local blogs offer something to local advertisers that the Internet has never before offered. Oh sure, anyone can bid on key words for Google or Yahoo, and be promised local ads shown to local readers but how do you know? I mean, why should a lawn maintaince business with one office in Greensboro, North Carolina advertise to Yahoo users in China or India? Have mower, will travel? Not that far!
